Today’s jobs require a quality education, including strong science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) curricula.
A robust STEM education creates critical thinkers, problem solvers, and produces the next generation of innovators. STEM jobs are growing at a fast pace and currently outpacing STEM graduates.
What’s more, STEM is and will continue to be vital to the future development of Senegal and the continent of Africa.
Can we do something to spark an interest? Yes!
Engaging children at a young age is vital for STEM skill, competence and comfort. This is where STEMPlay comes in!
With fun, engaging learning provided by STEM professionals who have thrived in the real world of engineering and business, as well as by Children’s Education professionals passionate about STEM Education, students gain a safe space where they can develop into the next Cheikh Anta Diop’s of Senegal, Africa and the world.
Our STEMPlay Program serves two age groups:
- 8-15 Years
- 15-18 Years
Now, research does indeed show how important it is to engage children early on with STEM Education, and this is why one of our programs is open to children beginning at 8 years old.
However, our research shows that there is also an interest in STEM Education for teens. So, we’ve decided to offer both here at Innovation House!
Would you like to register your child for the STEMPlay program?
